[WATCH] Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli does the Cristiano Ronaldo ‘sleep’celebration – his influence is ‘UNREAL’

There is no doubt that the influence and stardom of Cristiano Ronaldo is second to none. He is not just well-known for his goal scoring abilities but also the celebration he does after hitting the goal. Different people from different sports have used his celebrations in the past and it was on display at Wankhede Stadium as well.

India had welcomed Australia for the 1st game of the ODI series and Mohammad Siraj did  the CR7 impression after taking the first wicket.

The Hyderabad born pacer pulled off the viral “Siu” celebration of Ronaldo after Siraj clean bowled Aussie opener Travis Head for just 5 runs.

The wicket was celebrated by Siraj and skipper Virat Kohli in the style of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, with Siraj imitating Ronaldo’s “Siu” celebration and Kohli imitating his “Nap” celebration. A video of this celebration that the BCCI posted on its official Twitter account received a lot of attention.

The Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kohli has made no secret of the fact that he is a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo.

He previously defended Cristiano Ronaldo from the critics after being knocked out of the World Cup, writing: “No trophy or any title can take anything away from what you’ve done in this sport and for sports fans around the world. No title can explain the impact you’ve had on people and what I and so many around the world feel when we watch you play. That’s a gift from god,”
