Victor Osimhen vs Harry Kane: Thierry Henry advises Manchester United on which striker to sign

Victor Osimhen is one of the hottest strikers in the world at the moment, while Harry Kane has been one of the best in the last decade.

If you were Manchester United, which will you pick? One certain thing about this question is that it is not an easy one to answer.

Osimhen cannot stop scoring, and his goals are leading Napoli towards a first league title in three decades.

The Nigerian scored twice in Napoli’s last Champions League game and seems to get better in every match he plays.

Kane is one of the world’s most accomplished strikers, but trophies have eluded him at Tottenham and he might finally get his desired move away from Spurs by the end of this season.

But United will have to pick one of them and former Arsenal superstar Thierry Henry was asked which of them the Red Devils should go for. The Frenchman chose Kane and gave his reasons, as related by the Daily Mail:

‘Because of the Premier League and he knows the Premier League, if I’m Man United I go Kane.

‘That doesn’t mean Osimhen is not a good player or whatever, it has nothing to do with that. I think Osimhen can adapt in any league.

‘But if I’m Man United, I would look at [it like] ok, this guy doesn’t need to adapt to anything, he has a way of dropping and can allow Marcus Rashford to run in behind him when he drops.

‘Kane can play anywhere also by the way.’
