Harry Kane will leave Tottenham for FREE

March 15, 2023

Tottenham is prepared to deny Harry Kane a move away again at the end of this season as the striker enters the last term of his current deal.

Spurs have denied Kane a transfer all his career and rejected a big-money offer from Manchester City for the Englishman in the summer of 2021.

Kane had been keen to move to Manchester, but he was forced to stay put and hasn’t signed a new deal with the Lilywhites.

In an ideal situation, Spurs should be eager to cash in on him while they can, but a report on Sky Sports says they have no intention to sell the England captain at the end of this season.

This means they risk losing the striker for nothing when he walks free at the end of the next campaign, but Spurs are willing to take the risk and will prioritise offering the striker a new contract.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich have been linked with the former Leyton Orient loanee, but Spurs will not consider a sale in the summer.

For now, talks about an extension are on hold, with the striker reluctant to put pen to paper on a new deal, yet Spurs seems content with keeping him regardless and it promises to be an interesting summer at the Tottenham Stadium.

Kane has remained a key member of Antonio Conte’s squad so far and has 22 goals from 38 competitive games this season.
