Reports have emerged indicating that Tottenham Hotspur has given Manchester United a colossal upfront asking price of £100 million for Harry Kane, despite the fact that the striker is in the final year of his contract.
This news doesn’t come as a surprise to many, given Kane’s current contract situation and his vocal desire to win trophies. In addition to Tottenham’s tough stance, Kane’s own desire to surpass Alan Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League goals makes Tottenham confident that they can keep him. The Englishman currently has 204 goals to his name, and it would likely take at least two more seasons for him to reach that milestone.
