Manchester United’s Premier League title challenge is expected to fall short as a supercomputer has predicted the Red Devils will finish the season outside of the top four. However, at the moment, Manchester United are in the lead of the title race and are just ahead of Manchester City and Liverpool. Time will just tell who will climb the ladder to the Premier League title or will Liverpool successfully defend their title?
The supercomputer Football Web Pages has predicted the Premier League champions as well as the Top Four for this season in it’s latest predictions. The supercomputer is widely known for it’s predictions. According to FWP, Manchester City will narrowly edge out the league with just a one point lead. However, it will be a nail biting finish to the season.
City are expected to finish on 81 points, putting them one point ahead of Jurgen Klopp by the end of the season. Leicester City and Tottenham are expected to round off the top four with third and fourth place finishes respectively. Aston Villa are surprisingly predicted to finish in fifth place and secure Europa League football for the following season. According to FWP’s predictions, United fall short of fourth-placed Spurs and finish the season in sixth place.
