Former Messi’s international teammate and friend Sergio Aguero believes that the Argentine should consider Barcelona as his next club.
Since the speculation of Lionel Messi leaving PSG after the World Cup in Qatar, there have been reports that the Argentine will continue his paused spell at Barcelona. Now that the season is about to end and PSG is unable to persuade the Argentine due to their restricted pockets, Messi is forced to go see other available jerseys.
While the lucrative offers from Al Hilal and Inter Miami are on the table, Lionel Messi reportedly wants Barca to make a move.
Messi’s fellow countrymen Sergio Aguero gave his opinion on the rumor and urged the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner to join Barcelona.
“Wherever he feels like. That’s the best place for him. I wish Leo the best, because he deserves it. Nothing can beat whatever his choice is.”
Sergio Aguero also said that he would be very happy if that happens and also encourages the fact that the 35-year-old can bring a lot more to the team than their current star players.
“I’d love to see him play for Barca again, but as I said, it’s on him to decide. We all know what Leo can give back to Barca once more.”
Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi are true companions whenever they wore the Argentine jersey. The pair has shown immense respect for one another despite never being able to play in the same club.
Aguero did ended his career at Barcelona after a fancy career where he dominated two of the biggest leagues in the world (EPL, Laliga) and scored more than 400 goals.
He is now very active on social media with his own Twitch channel where he voices his opinions.
