Real Madrid has reserved their number 9 shirt for Kylian Mbappe after Karim Benzema left the club and the Frenchman is now looking to move to the Bernabeu in this transfer window.
Madrid have long targeted a move for Mbappe and battled PSG to sign the striker at the start of last season, but he eventually extended his stay at the Paris club.
Madrid did not expect him to change club in this transfer window and splashed the cash to sign Jude Bellingham. However, Mbappe is now looking to leave PSG.
He has told the Parisians that he would not extend his contract with them beyond the next campaign and they need to find a solution to that problem.
PSG will not allow him to leave as a free agent at the end of next season and are now looking to cash in on the attacker who has broken several records at the club.
Whether he joins them this summer or the next one, Madrid is sure Mbappe will wear their shirt and Goal reveals they have reserved their number 9 jersey for the Frenchman.
It was vacated by Benzema recently and Mbappe will become the next player to wear that shirt as one of the biggest superstars in the world.
