Player Ratings for PSG
Gianluigi Donnarumma – 7/10
Donnarumma did not have much to do all game and got his 13th clean sheet of the season in 35 league games.
Marquinhos – 6.5/10
The PSG defender did not have a game to remember. He was unable to make a single clearance, block, interception or tackle in 90 minutes of action.
Sergio Ramos – 7.5/10
The Spanish international was rock solid in defense, making three clearances and blocking one shot on goal. He also managed to assist Kylian Mbappe for his second goal.
Danilo Pereira – 7/10
The Portuguese defender made two clearances and interceptions apiece, completing 71 of 75 passes with 95% accuracy.
Achraf Hakimi – 8/10
The Moroccan was on fire, adding four crosses and scoring PSG’s second goal. His basketball skills were also clearly on display.
But his night came to an abrupt end when, in the 77th minute, he was dismissed for an altercation.
Marco Verratti – 7/10
The pass-master of PSG was back at it, completing 90% of his passes while controlling the game’s tempo.
Fabian Ruiz – 8/10
With an incredible outside-of-the-boot finish in the 22nd minute, he opened the floodgates for PSG and displayed his passing prowess, recording a 91% accuracy.
Juan Bernat – 6.5/10
Bernat was a huge threat down the left wing and ran nonstop, but he lacked the finishing touch to have a significant influence.
Lionel Messi – 6/10
The PSG star’s first game back with the squad after serving a suspension was quite quiet. On a night with so many goals, you’d think he’d score, but alas, it wasn’t to be.
Hugo Ekitike – 7/10
Ekitike, who started up as a striker, didn’t put Ajaccio to the test but did provide an assist for Mbappe’s opening score. He had defenders on both sides, but he saw the Frenchman running and laid off for him to finish.
Kylian Mbappe – 9/10
Kylian Mbappe was the star of the show, which has been a recurrent theme for PSG this season. The French striker is back in the lead in the Ligue 1 Golden Boot race with 26 goals.
