In his first game back on Sunday, Lionel Messi assisted in his new team’s 3-1 Major League Soccer victory over LAFC.
At the BMO Stadium, goals by Facundo Faroas, Jordi Alba, and Leonardo Campana secured all three points.
Lionel Messi didn’t score, but he did get two assists for Campana and former Barcelona teammate Alba. Messi is a seven-time winner of the Ballon d’Or.
LeBron James and Leonardo DiCaprio were among the famous people in the audience to watch the World Cup champion.
Prince Harry, who appeared wild with anticipation at the thought of watching Messi in action, was the most ecstatic, though.
Additionally, the Duke of Sussex was seen leaving his LAFC scarf behind and waiting to meet the Argentine after the game.
