Graham Potter has not fancied the striker as much, a decision that has made it hard for him to play as the Blues increasingly focus on youth.
He was pictured in the Barca dressing room after their latest El Classico clash against Real Madrid, a decision that did not impress Chelsea.
Reports even claimed the Blues were considering firing the former Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund striker.
However, he remains on their books until at least the end of this season. He now hopes he can get a return to Barca.
