WATCH: Paul Pogba is injured within 24 MINUTES of his first start in 390 DAYS for Juventus

May 14, 2023

Paul Pogba‘s first start in 390 days ended after just 24 minutes against Cremonese, and Juventus is now hopeful the midfielder has not suffered a serious problem.

The Frenchman joined Juve in the summer as a free agent after running down his contract at Manchester United, and the Italian side was happy to have secured the future of one of the finest free agents on offer.

However, Pogba suffered a meniscus problem in pre-season, and it kept him out of action for much of the first half of the campaign and he also missed the World Cup with France.

He returned to action in 2023 and suffered different setbacks along the way, but the Frenchman was available for around 20 minutes in each of their last three matches.

This made Max Allegri start him for the game against Cremonese, but Pogba pulled up in 24 minutes and left the field in tears. Juve will now hope he has not suffered a serious problem, which will keep him out of action for the rest of the season.
