Reports have emerged that despite being strongly linked with a summer transfer, Neymar wants to finish his career with Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite continuing injury issues this season, according to L’Equipe, Neymar will stay at Parc des Princes for the near future. In his most recent game, Neymar twisted his ankle, leading him to miss the second leg against Bayern Munich in the Champions League’s round of 16.
Neymar, who is a key player for the Ligue 1 powerhouses alongside Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, has no intention of pushing for a transfer because he wants to add to the 13 titles he has already won in France and lead PSG to their first Champions League title.

The Brazilian was acquired by Les Parisiens in 2017 for a record-breaking €222 million from Barcelona. Since then, the forward has scored 118 goals and contributed 77 assists in 173 games for the team in various competitions.
Neymar’s lifestyle off the field, though, has frequently caused pundits and supporters to doubt his dedication to PSG. That frustration has only increased due to his bad injury history, which has caused him to miss 108 games.
Neymar to retire at PSG?
It should be noted that the 31-year-old has a contract with the French powerhouses till June 2027.Given his status as one of the most expensive players in the world, signing him would undoubtedly cost a sizable sum of money.
Neymar has also made it clear that he intends to remain at PSG till the end of his playing days. He has no intentions of playing for another team, despite being rumoured for a summer transfer.
By the time his deal with the Parisians expires in 2027, he will be 35 years old. After that, it will be interesting to see if he decides to stay at the club longer or hang up his boots.
Neymar is now recovering from a severe ankle injury. He had surgery last week in Qatar, and it is unlikely that he will play again this season.
