Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil forward Neymar has revealed that he and his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi are expecting their first child together.
The 30-year-old has been in a relationship with the 28-year-old social media influencer Biancardi since 2021 after splitting with his former lover and Bollywood actress Natalia Barulich.
The Brazilian, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury since mid-February, announced this in a joint Instagram post with his partner.
The couple disclosed the information with five pictures celebrating their imminent arrival and the words:
“We dream about your life, plan your arrival and knowing that you are here to complete our love makes our days much happier. You will arrive in a beautiful family, with your brother, grandparents, uncles and aunties who already love you very much! Come soon. We are waiting for you!”
The post welcomed reactions from his club and national team teammates Vinicius Junior, Richarlison and Marco Verratti, and Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonella Roccuzzo.
Neymar already has an 11-year-old son with his ex-girlfriend Carolina Dantas.
The Brazilian attacker has struggled for fitness this season. He is currently sidelined due to an ankle injury and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
Beyond the current season, rumours continue to circulate over Neymar’s next destination, despite the player reiterating his desire to retire at Paris Saint Germain.
