Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are two of the world’s biggest players and have dominated the game in the last 15 years, which is one reason they probably have the most fans around the globe.
Both attackers are nearing the end of their careers now as Ronaldo plays at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, while Messi is at a crossroad regarding his next career step.
The Argentinian is often considered the most talented among them, and players seem divided about who they really rate above the other in the debate.
Any fan in the world will want to have dinner with both players, and that could be the case for some players as well. Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Muller was quizzed on which of them he would like to have dinner with, and the attacker said:
“Who would I like to have dinner with between Messi and Ronaldo?
“The answer is clearly Messi. I played great matches against him, I won the biggest title against him and I have a few questions.
“Because after all, due to the style of play, I think we both assisted a lot of goals, he much more than me, and we are similar in the last pass.
“Don’t worry, I know he can dribble much better than me. But I do think it would be much more interesting to have dinner with him. I really like Messi.”
Messi and Ronaldo have delivered some terrific performances for us in the last few seasons, and we consider them the greatest of our time. While we may be divided over which of them we support, both of them are undeniably top players.
