“Disappointed” Marco Verratti could follow Lionel Messi to QUIT PSG at the end of this season

May 7, 2023

PSG is set to lose more players as Marco Verratti considers his future at the club because of how their fans behave towards him.

The Italian has been a key player for the Ligue 1 side since he joined them from Pescara in 2012 and is their second-highest appearance maker.

PSG fans have been frustrated by a perceived lack of progress at the club for some time now and recently turned on Neymar and Lionel Messi, but Verratti feels he has also been targeted.

Tuttojuve reveals the midfielder is “disappointed” with the attitude of the fans towards him at the club and wants to leave them by the end of this season.

He just signed a new PSG deal that keeps him with them until 2026, but the report claims the Euro 2020 winner might leave when this term finishes.

He wants to return to Italy, where he has never played in the top flight and has interest from Juventus and Inter Milan. Both sides hope he is frustrated enough to ask to leave Paris, and they will pounce to add him to their squad.

Verratti is one of the world’s finest midfielders, and PSG would be foolish to allow him to leave. The smart thing to do now is to ensure their fans stop attacking the players and show them support instead.
