Manchester United is said to have a keen interest in Eintracht Frankfurt’s French striker Randal Kolo Muani to add to Erik Ten Hag’s infantry for next season.
Eintracht Frankfurt is set to receive a significant amount of money for the French striker as he is anticipated to depart from the club during summer.
According to Bild’s report, Manchester United is getting ready to make an offer of at least €120 million for Kolo Muani.
Old Trafford is in dire requirement of a number 9 to pair up with Marcus Rashford who has been in the best form of his life. The manager is aware of the lack of depth in attack and over-dependency on Rashford and is rooting for the French striker to move in the summer.
After his contract with FC Nantes expired, Kolo Muani joined the club in the summer of 2021 on a free transfer. Despite being only 24 years old, he swiftly made an impact and contributed to 30 goals in 34 matches, which got him his French debut.
Archrivals Liverpool is also going head-on to acquire the French World cupper and is expected to make fat cash bids too. The heated rivals will be determined not to miss on what is sure to be a fierce battle.
Liverpool on the other hand is on the downside of their prolific form under Jurgen Klopp’s regime, with the sloppiest start to the 2022 season, and aspires to strengthen the squad for next season with solid additions.
Other big names on the French striker’s trail are the usual suitors of the likes of Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid. Real Madrid is sober in the pursuit, but PSG is hot at the moment since their European ambitions were crushed last week by Munich and are looking for every means to make their squad inevitable for next season, which has been a regular practice for the Parisians over the years. But it remains to be seen if Luis Campos, their sporting advisor, is willing to pay a triple-digit figure for Kolo Muani.
