Manchester United will be able to sign Neymar Jr from PSG on ‘ONE CRUCIAL CONDITION’

April 25, 2023

Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.

The PSG attacker could be sold this summer after another underwhelming season that has seen him miss many of his club’s games due to injury.

He is sidelined by an ankle injury he suffered in PSG’s 4-3 win over Lille in February and will not feature again for the French side this season.

This has fueled rumours that his time in Paris might soon be over, with PSG looking to remove his huge salary from their wage bill. But, his huge weekly wage is one of the factors preventing many other clubs from signing him.

But according to Foot Mercato, Premier League giants Manchester United want to sign the attacker this summer. The Red Devils have been interested in Neymar since January.

However, they will not be able to progress in any negotiations until a sale of the club is finalised. The Red Devils are in the midst of a takeover, as current owners the Glazers Family looking to sell the club.

While, the process of selling the club has stalled in recent weeks, there is still a possibility that a deal could be concluded as soon as the season rounds up.

Should that go through, there will be enough money on ground to sign star players. As per the report, several big names will be brought into Old Trafford in the event of a successful sale, with Neymar top of that list of wanted star players.

But should United make a move for the 31-year-old, they would need to convince him that Old Trafford is his best destination for him, given that he doesn’t want to leave Paris.

Meanwhile, The Mirror are reporting that Chelsea have joined clubs looking to sign Neymar, with the Blues unsuccessfully trying to sign him last summer. According to reports, Chelsea’s new ownership met with PSG officials in February to discuss the Brazilian’s future.

Neymar is one of the biggest names in the sport, boasting over 100 goals for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. In addition, he has 77 goals in 124 international caps for Brazil.
