Manchester United Stars Furious At Paul Pogba Being Offered £500,000 A Week MEGA DEAL

Paul Pogba‘s future at Old Trafford remains very doubtful. The player reportedly wants out of the club. However, Manchester United are ready to make him the highest paid player in the Premier League in a bid to get the French midfielder to stay.

According to the Mirror, the 29-year-old midfielder has been offered a mouth watering deal worth £500,000-per-week in order to keep him at Manchester United. This would make him the Premier League’s highest-paid player, even higher than Cristiano Ronaldo. The deal starts off with a basic salary of £400,000 with the add-ons taking his contract up to half a million pounds.

However, it is being reported that members of the squad are furious with the new deal being offered to Pogba. The Man United squad think that he is not worthy of this deal after showing poor performances this season as well as not being fully committed to the club.

“Some of the players think it’s out of order he could be getting twice as much as they’re when he hardly starts a game and talks about leaving all the time,” a source at the Mirror said.

With his current deal, Paul Pogba earns £290,000 per week, which is massive considering he does not start most of the games. If Pogba accepts the new contract, he will surpass Cristiano Ronaldo (£450,000-per-week), David de Gea (£375,000-per-week), Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane (both £300,000-per-week) in Man United’s wage bills.

Paul Pogba has made it somewhat clear that he is not willing to stay at Old Trafford. There has been interest in him from Paris Saint Germain as well as his former club, Juventus. It is yet to be seen if they will offer the wages he wants.

Talking about his future last month, the French midfielder said: “Nothing is decided on my future, nothing is done. I can decide tomorrow, just as I can decide during the transfer window. I want to bounce back and finish the season well.”

“I want to win titles, to play for something and this year and the last few years we haven’t won a title. It’s sad.”

With a new manage expected at the club next season, the situation with his new contract will be resolved soon.
