What’s Next For Manchester United As They Get Set To Face Off Against Liverpool?

Further, the Liverpool fans also have decided that they would be staging a minute’s applause for Ronaldo in the seventh minute, in honour of his late son. However, the talismanic forward will not be there to witness this, as he will be home with his family, who will be needing him the most at this tough time.

It is never easy to lose a loved one no matter who he or she is, but it is even worse when parents lose a child. This surely would have made the fans emotional, who poured their hearts out and sent their thoughts and prayers for the Ronaldo family.

Manchester United are in fifth place at present in the points table in the top flight of English football. They are just three points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, as they plan their trip to Anfield to take on fierce-rivals Liverpool, who are chasing league leaders Manchester City at present and are in second place.

With regards to the team, Ronaldo scored a hattrick in the match against Norwich City, which the Red Devils barely won. The game ended with a 3-2 scoreline and if not for his goals, Ralf Ragnick and co. could have been in some serious trouble, with regards to their ambitions of finishing in the top-four. For this reason, the Portuguese attacker will surely be missed.

Despite that, family first and wishes and prayers with Ronaldo and Georgina and their young family. Hopefully, they get the strength to recover from this tragic incident.
