The transfer saga encompassing the illustrious Jude Bellingham has taken an unprecedented turn as an esteemed journalist has exposed a London meeting between Bellingham’s father and Real Madrid’s representatives.
The meeting is said to have taken place at Stamford Bridge during Chelsea vs Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday.
CBS Sports Golazo has claimed that a Spanish media outlet has reported that Jude Bellingham’s father met with Real Madrid’s head of recruitment in London and discussed a potential transfer. The timing of this meeting is significant since the summer transfer window is fast approaching, and clubs will be seeking to secure their potential targets promptly.
As per a report by Bild, cited by journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft, Borussia Dortmund is allegedly said to have a rather even ’50/50′ chance of keeping hold of Jude Bellingham, as it is believed that they have proposed to offer him a substantial €9 million pay increase to supplement his existing €6 million-a-year deal.
However, it could prove too much for the youngster to ignore the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid – two European giants.

French outlet Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna has reported that a meeting, the details of which are shrouded in mystery, has apparently been set up between Mark Bellingham – Jude Bellingham’s father and Juni Calafat, the director of international football at Real.
It has been claimed that talks are already in progress between the two parties, and Calafat is expected to unveil Real’s master plan or “project” for the 19-year-old prodigy in the meeting.
On the other hand, as per the Daily Mail’s report, Los Blancos could possibly hold back their pursuit of Bellingham until 2024, contemplating providing a more lucrative salary.
The Spanish giants’ possible plan, which involves waiting for Luka Modric’s potential departure, could ultimately pave the way for the Dortmund wonderkid to take up his role as a long-term replacement.
These approaches from Real Madrid are not good news for Liverpool, as they continue to explore the options to bring Jude Bellingham to Anfield in the summer of next season.
