As the transfer season has developed, Al Ittihad’s interest in Mohamed Salah has grown. The Saudi Arabian powerhouses are eager to bolster their roster with star players.
Since Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Fabinho have already joined the team, focus has now shifted to Salah.
The Reds swiftly rejected an initial bid from the Saudi Pro League that was made on Thursday night, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein. The report revealed that the verbal bid to sign Salah for Al Ittihad was worth £100 million plus ‘substantial add-ons’.
Although Liverpool rejected the offer and stated that Salah was not for sale, the Saudi Pro League is still confident that they can persuade the Reds to part with their star player.
Al Ittihad offered a total fee of £150 Million, and according to CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs, the club is expected to make another offer of a staggering £175 Million.
