[WATCH] Lionel Messi scores ‘DAZZLING TEAM GOAL’ on his MLS debut against the New York Red Bulls

Lionel Messi simply cannot stop scoring for Inter Miami. On Saturday night, the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner made his Major League Soccer debut and scored, striking late in a 2-0 win at NY Red Bulls.

In the Red Bulls penalty box, Lionel Messi exchanged fantastic passes with teammate Benjamin Cremaschi before scoring from close range. The Herons completed a 2-0 victory for the evening after Diego Gomez had given them the lead in the 37th minute.

After defeating New England 2-1 on May 14, it had been 12 games since Messi and company had triumphed in the MLS. Inter Miami went on a seven-game losing streak, finishing last in the Eastern Conference. The victory over New York moves them two points ahead of Toronto, who have played three more games, and off the bottom of the standings.
