“Bitter people, who have never won anything” – Argentine coach Antonio Mohamed support Lionel Messi as he hits back at PSG fans who vocally abused the forward

May 5, 2023

One of Lionel Messi’s compatriots has come forward to defend the Argentine after he was subjected to vocal abuse from angry PSG fans.

Former Argentine player and now coach Antonio Mohamed took aim at the aggressive Paris Saint Germain crowd who shouted abusive chants against the World Cup winner just yesterday.

While speaking to Bolavip, Antonio Mohamed was unhappy with how disrespectful the PSG fanbase is towards Messi.

“It is a lack of respect”

Mohamed was quick to put the PSG fans at their rightful place as he claimed that these people have never won anything and with this behavior they’ll never will,

“These bitter people, who have never won anything, are not going to win even if they buy the Eiffel Tower and put it in front of the arch. It is a total lack of respect.”

The former Argentina international was full of praise for his fellow countryman as he wished Lionel Messi to find a club where he is the happiest.

“Let him choose the destination where he can be happy. Nothing more,”

Antonio Mohamed added that the 35-year-old is not happy in France right now,

“I think that is the best for him and for football. Which is what we all want, to see him happy on a pitch. He doesn’t look happy in Paris and he does look happy in the National Team.”

Lionel Messi is currently on a two-week unpaid suspension from Paris Saint Germain after the forward took an unapproved trip to Saudi Arabia for one of his commercial ventures.

The Argentina captain will sit out PSG’s two next fixtures.
