“Leaving Manchester United?” Ronaldo Excited By Ten Hag Appointment

Ronaldo

There have been stories going around media outlets suggesting that Cristiano Ronaldo is all set to leave Manchester United. However, the Red Devils’ talisman, who recently won the Player Of The Month award, seems to have some different ideas. It seems to be the case that Ronaldo is keen to work with new incoming Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag, contrary to the reports.

The Red Devils’ star striker has been in top form this season. His team hasn’t been doing great, yet Ronaldo has been once again in a league of his own for his age. Doing things that only Ronaldo can do, he has single-handedly won the Manchester-based side a few games in the top flight of English football.

What Next For Ronaldo With Regards To His Future At Manchester United?

While the stories still suggest that Ronaldo is leaving Old Trafford, his comments seem otherwise. In a recent special upcoming episode of TeamViewer Diaries, Ronaldo talked about the new incoming boss, who just won yet another Eredivisie title win with Ajax in midweek.

He said, “What I know about him is he did a fantastic job for Ajax. That he is an experienced coach. But we need to give him time. Things will need to change the way he wants. Hope we have success, of course, because, if you have success, all of Manchester is going to have success as well. I wish him the best. We are happy and excited. Not only as players but the supporters as well. I wish him the best and let us believe that next year, we are going to win trophies.”

Well, the comments from the no. 7 at Manchester United are really positive. Some would argue that these suggest that he will be staying at the club. Whether that actually happens or not, remains to be seen. The problem with Ronaldo is that he wants to play in the Champions League, while his current club are not going to be in that competition next year unless a miracle happens.

There have been some stories that are suggesting that UEFA might be considering a change in the format. This could actually benefit the Red Devils, who might be able to hold on to Ronaldo then. Let’s see!!
