Karim Benzema scored a sensational seven-minute hat-trick, including a stunning bicycle kick, for Real Madrid against Real Valladolid, all the while fasting for Ramadan.
Real Madrid were hosting Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabeu, as they looked to close the gap to the league leaders, Barcelona. Just in the 22nd minute, Rodrygo fired Real Madrid into the lead. However, Karim Benzema stole the show as he scored a sensational first half hat-trick.
The Madrid captain headed in a fantastic cross from Vinicius Junior that was sent to the back post for his first goal. Vinicius Jr. and Benzema reunited just three minutes after Madrid’s second and Benzema’s first goal, as the Frenchman was waiting for the ball on the edge of the Valladolid box and slotted it in the net.
As Rodrygo crossed from the right in the 36th minute, the 2022 Ballon d’Or winner scored from a bicycle kick from six yards out to clinch his spectacular hat-trick.
