Real Madrid responded forcefully to a loss to Girona in the middle of the week by sweeping to a 4-2 victory over Almeria on Saturday.
By scoring a first half hat-trick during the match, Karim Benzema became the only player other than Cristiano Ronaldo to reach 350 goals for the Los Blancos.
At kickoff, the sun was shining in the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu as Los Blancos attempted to shake off the gloom from their shocking 4-2 loss to Girona.
They quickly accomplished their goal. Karim Benzema scored his first goal within the first five minutes of the game. Following a beautiful cross-goal pass from Vinicius Jr., the French striker finished the play by tapping the ball in from close range.
His second goal was assisted by another Brazilian, Rodrygo, in the 17th minute, and he side footed the ball into the right corner of the goal.
He finished off his hat-trick just before halftime by slotting a penalty into the bottom corner.
