Juventus is preparing to buy struggling West Ham striker

March 15, 2023

Juventus has an interest in Gianluca Scamacca and could add him to their squad one season after he moved from Serie A to West Ham.

The Italian moved to London at the start of this campaign as the Irons hoped he would solve their goalscoring problems, but that has not happened.

His poor form forced them to add Danny Ings to their squad in January as they battle with relegation, and David Moyes wants to save his job.

In recent weeks the manager of the Irons claims Scamacca is not in the right physical shape to help the team, so he has spent most of it on the bench, but that could change in the summer.

A report on Football Italia claims Juventus has an interest in the former PSV player and will add him to their squad in the summer for the right price.

The Old Lady have been looking for goals and could lose Dusan Vlahovic or Moise Kean at the end of the season.

The report claims if either of them leaves, Scamacca will be brought in as a replacement and the striker will appreciate a return to Italy after a torrid first season in England.
