According to some reports, it seems that Lionel Messi could join his great rival Cristiano Ronaldo in playing for a Saudi Club. Al-Ittihad, a club in the Saudi league has apparently expressed their desire to buy the Argentine magician.

Al-Ittihad, one of the top teams in Saudi Arabia, is presently ranked second in the SPL standings, only behind Al-Nassr headed by Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo signed a massive contract and went to Al-Nassr earlier this year. He has since made an immediate impact with his new team.

In an effort to compete with Al-rising Nassr’s fan numbers after they recruited Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Ittihad reportedly offered Messi a massive $187 million deal over the course of two years in order to lure the World Cup champion to sign for them.
