Dele Alli who was once regarded as one of the brightest English footballing prospects during his time at Tottenham Hotspur has experienced a significant downfall in his career since joining Turkish outfit Besiktas. The midfielder’s time with the club has been marked by disappointment and is believed that his stint with the team will come to an end in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Quite a promising talent in his days at Tottenham, his career had been on a nose dive in recent years. Tottenham allowed him to join Everton on a free transfer in January 2022 before the toffees offloaded him to the Turkish side last Summer.

Alli failed to settle at Goodison park following his initial free transfer. After a difficult half-season with the Toffees, Dele was flown off to join Besiktas on a loan deal that lasted for a single season.

Despite the club’s assertion that Dele still can make a comeback, his time in Turkey is likely to end for him since there is no compulsion to purchase him permanently. According to reports, The Turkish side could sign the player for a mere £8m but they are not interested in doing that.

Since Senol Gunes took over from Valerien Ismael as the new manager, Dele Alli has struggled to get playing time.
