Tuesday’s 7-0 international friendly victory by Argentina over Curacao featured a hat-trick from Paris Saint-Germain striker Lionel Messi. The PSG player not only registered an assist but also scored all three of his goals in the first half.
Eloy Room, the goal keeper for Curacao, made nine saves overall in the match, including seven from inside the penalty area, despite allowing seven goals to Argentina. After the competition, Lionel Messi and Eloy Room switched jerseys.

Speaking to TyC Sports following the fixture, Room took some time to reveal what Messi told him when he swapped shirts with the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.
“It was a tough game, he scored some goals on me, but I also saved some good shots from him,” Room said. “After the game, he told me that too, that I had good saves. That means a lot for me.”
