A spectacular header from Cristiano Ronaldo gave Al-Nassr the lead against Al-Raed on April 28 in their Saudi Pro League away match, snapping a three-game goal drought.
With a lovely cross, Sultan Al-Ghannam succeeded in locating the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. The Portuguese striker gave a demonstration of his aerial skills by scoring from close range with a strong header to give Al Nassr the lead.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s opening goal should provide the Riyadh-based club with some much-needed impetus. If they maintain their lead, Al-Nassr will have 56 points after 25 games. Having played one more game, they will have three points more than the league leaders, Al-Ittihad.
