Tuesday’s Saudi Pro League match saw Cristiano Ronaldo’s squad defeat Al Shabab 4-0 thanks to his first-half brace and two penalties.
Before halftime, Sadio Mane, a former Liverpool striker, added a third goal, and Sultan Al-Ghannam completed the scoring in the 80th.
However, soon after the hour mark, Al Nassr was given a penalty, giving the former Manchester United player the chance to score a hat-trick.
When the star forward had already scored twice, he made the decision to pass the ball to Abdulrahman Ghareeb, depriving himself of the chance to score a hat-trick.

Due to his struggles, Ghareeb was granted the opportunity to score from the penalty spot. The crowd’s fans weren’t happy, and Ronaldo and Mane motioned for them to back him.
Unfortunately, the actor stumbled over his words. He rebounded off the post and scored, but the match official whistled for an obstruction.
The Portuguese’s gesture ultimately served no use because Ghareeb was unable to convert the penalty. But the fact that he was prepared to forgo a potential goal in order to support his teammate exemplifies the qualities of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
