Al Nassr star Abdulrahman Ghareeb has opened up on his experience with teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo was no doubt the highlight of Al Nassr this season. The prolific striker scored the most goals for the club and was one of the leading goalscorers in the league. He has had a positive influence on his teammate as they are in awe of his work ethic and commitment.

Sharing his experience with the superstar, Abdulrahman Ghareeb sat down in an interview where he revealed it all.

The 26-year-old winger said that Ronaldo gets angry when he loses in training and despite having won it all, the 38-year-old is still the first one on the pitch.

“Ronaldo’s life is very serious. He gets angry if he loses in training despite having won many European championships and individual titles. This is in addition to his early attendance at training before many others,”

He continued to praise the Ballon d’Or winner,

“I receive great support from Ronaldo. He stands by me greatly and he is the reason I attend training with great enthusiasm. I train with Cristiano, how can I not be excited?!”

The season for Al Nassr was however a different story. The club failed to win the league and the domestic competitions. Cristiano Ronaldo had his take on the matter as he believes the team has improved and will continue to do so,

“My expectation was a little bit different. To be honest. I expected to win something this year. But not always the way things go the way we want. Sometimes we need patience consistency and persistence to achieve things.”

Ronaldo added: “We improved a lot. Let’s say this last five six months, the team improve a lot. Even the league, all the teams improve and my team as well. It takes time sometimes. But, if you believe it’s your goal, I think everything is possible. I expected to win something this year but we didn’t.”
