Manchester City Beat Liverpool 4-1 in a crucial Premier League Fixture. Kevin De Bruyne and Co. scored.
Manchester City vs Liverpool has been the home for one of the most tactical Premier League fixtures for the past 5 years.
But we would all agree that this season is unlike any other. On one hand, Liverpool sits at 7th in the Premier League and is working hard to book their seat in the top 4 while Manchester City is eight points off Arsenal who are alone at the top.
Both teams wanted to win this fixture, and it looked like it for the first 45 minutes of the match. The whole game was filled with fantastic pressing, possessional plays, and genius tactical changes.
Liverpool opened the score in the 17’ minute with Salah scoring a power goal with his left foot. At that moment it felt as if Liverpool will take it away from City.
But even without the dangerous Erling Haaland, Manchester City came back and once again the genius Pep and De Brynue prevailed.
Manchester City went on to score 4 more goals. The breakthrough was scored by Haaland’s replacement Julian Alvarez in the 27’ minute. And then goals from Kevin De Bruyne, İlkay Gündoğan, and Jack Grealish in the 46’, 53’, and 74’ minutes respectively saw the citizens cruise through with ease.
Erling Haaland was seen wildly celebrating the Alvarez goal.

With every goal for City, the cameraman went for a closeup of Erling Haaland who was seen jumping with joy in the dugout.
Manchester mastered Liverpool in the possession play. Throughout the 90 minutes, the blues had possession for about 69 percent of the match. They also had the more shots at goals with 8 to Liverpool’s 1.
With this win, Manchester City is just 5 points off Arsenal. Arsenal will play Leed United in just one hour. The result of that match will have huge implications for the rest of the season.
