Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr is once again held by lower-table side Al Khaleej after a confusing 90 minutes in the Saudi PL.
The Al Alami went into the fixture with their hopes high. A win here would have guaranteed a tie for the top spot as they were just 3 points behind league topper Al Ittlihad.
But, Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr were shocked as Al Khaleej star Fabio Martin passed through the defense in a Messi-type sprint and put the ball into the net.
But it wasn’t long before Al Nassr’s center-back Alvaro Gonzalez stepped up to give his team the goal they desperately deserve.
Despite Al Khaleej becoming more defensive as the minutes progressed, Cristiano and Co. failed to produce a decider.
Unfortunately, Cristiano Ronaldo did score a match-winning goal but it was quickly ruled out. Al Nassr’s players looked broken once the full-time whistle was blown. They knew they had it and they lost it.
The match ended with a frustrating draw at 1-1.
Fans and haters of the club and their star went toe to toe on Twitter once the draw was announced.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr now have just 5 crucial games left to win in order the get the league title. They are 2 points behind Al Ittihad who still have a game in hand.
